To Be As Though As Rain

11:32 PG

Assalamualaikum dan salam sejahtera,

It's a rainy day for every night and everyday, here, at Indera Mahkota, Kuantan and somewhere else in Kuantan and maybe other east-cost territory of Malaysia. We usually call it in Malay as 'musim tengkujuh'.

Well, what's so good about rain? It give my clothes sweat, my laundry took extra time to dry, I cant even go to my class, feeling like sleep on bed, then I cant even study within this season!

Wholly craps. My study will be ruined because of this rain! I cant even go to the library, cant even have group discussions with my friend, it's all getting limited at time.

A rain, like tears coming from the sky, it tears me down. It tears my hope of seeing such a beautiful blue-sky turned into a nightmare. Full of storms and shadows passing by. Then, it just fades away. The world becoming so blur, the view in the window looks watery.

It reminds of a Quranic verses, Surah al-Baqarah 2:19:
Or (another similitude) is that of a rain-laden cloud from the sky: In it are zones of darkness, and thunder and lightning: They press their fingers in their ears to keep out the stunning thunder-clap, the while they are in terror of death. But Allah is ever round the rejecters of Faith!

And another verse 2:20:
The lightning all but snatches away their sight; every time the light (Helps) them, they walk therein, and when the darkness grows on them, they stand still. And if Allah willed, He could take away their faculty of hearing and seeing; for Allah hath power over all things.

The conversation was very deep. How powerful can be these two ayah to be remember. It is actually pointing back to us!

Well, again, why need to be though as rain? A rain is so soft, like tears. There a proverb saying that, a blast of rains on a rock, could break the rock one day. It's like the principle of da'wah, how should be lead our path in life.

You dont need to be sacre to be tough, or having a muscle or six-patch on body, or to have an intelligent brain, or to have a very good living like a heaven. Then, what is world for you for?

The principle of rocks also stated in Quran, Surah Al-Baqarah 2:74, Thenceforth were your hearts hardened: They became like a rock and even worse in hardness. For among rocks there are some from which rivers gush forth; others there are which when split asunder send forth water; and others which sink for fear of Allah. And Allah is not unmindful of what ye do.

It reflects to us again..

By the way, I still keep thinking on how to survive within this situation. A test surely comes with the solution. Do pray for me for my final exam. Ma'assalama.. ;-)

Hopefully beneficial.

P/s: now you should aware that rain is actually good.
